AGRA, IITA build capacity of partners in West Africa on plant analysis

The Alliance for Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA) and IITA has held a training session to improve the professional skills of laboratory technicians in soil and plant analytical laboratories in Ghana and Nigeria.

Hope seems to be underway for maize farmers in the West African sub-region with the recent introduction of the Drought Tolerant Maize for Africa (DTMA) which was developed to help maize farmers who find themselves in drought prone region of the continent.
