Global food prices on the decline -world Bank
The World Bank quarterly food price watch has said that the global food prices continued to decline for six consecutive months, stating that despite the decline, the price still remain very high and close to their historical peaks.
FAO Director-General Jose Graziano da Silva met with Ugandan Vice-President Edward Sekandi to discuss ways to ensure food security for all Ugandans and reduce poverty by supporting rural smallholders in the country’s agriculture sector.
