The 2nd edition of the International Environmental Technologies Fair held in Luanda, Angola has ended with government renewing its commitment to investment in clean and safe technologies.
The fair with the theme “Sustainable Energy and Water for All”, attended by106 local and foreign exhibitors provided a platform for exchange of experience and ideas among investors and outline future actions in the field of environmental Technologies in Angola, a source from the Ministry of Environment said.
The national director of the ministry of environment, António Matias, said at the fair that investment in environmental technologies was part of the international commitments taken by Angola adding that the country also require technology transfer agreements to ensure that all regions of the country benefited from government investment in clean technologies.
Antonio Matiras said the expansion of the use of the said technologies and know-how might contribute to improve the quality of environment, particularly concerning the clean energies.
António Matias praised the participation of the exhibitors, especially those from abroad seeking partnerships in Angola.
